wallsandfoundations
Greetings! I just bought a brand new 2015 FZ-07 and so far I love it! Looking to do a few small mods to start with and go from there.. To start off I'm getting an H4 HID kit from diodedynamics.com and a Yoshimura fender eliminator kit from revzilla.com. I also wanted to get some new LED turn signal indicators but I can't find any I like. I would like them as low profile as possible and good quality - pricing isn't an issue. Any leads? Also, excited to be a part of the forums!
Global Moderator sorkyah Posted May 5, 2015 Global Moderator Share Posted May 5, 2015 You could try flush mounts if you want them as low pro as possible http://www.motodynamic.com/flush-mount-led-front-turn-signals-2006-2007-yamaha-yzf-r6.html These are what i ordered for my fronts, but i could see em working for the rear too. Any 2006 r6 flush mounts should fit the stock hole without modding it ATGATT... ATTATT, two acronyms I live by.

Premium Member so1102 Posted May 5, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted May 5, 2015 I went with these (in carbon) -- not terribly small, but I think they look good on the bike -- and they work well: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bikemaster-spade-led-turn-signals

Beemer
Mine aren't the smallest but the cool thing about them was they look good, come with a fender eliminator kit and are cheap even as a combo for $69.99. [attachment id=883" thumbnail="1] http://www.ebay.com/itm/331315363435?item=331315363435&viewitem=&vxp=mtr But, you will need these to make them look right. $14.99 (ok, now not so cheap) http://www.ebay.com/itm/331462850335?item=331462850335&viewitem=&vxp=mtr Beemer
garrim
I just replaced the tail light on mine, has integrated turn signals: From a Canadian eBay seller, Moto X Tuner (if you look up my threads I posted a link directly). For the fronts I got these: Again, links in my thread showing the install. Everything from eBay, easy peasy.
Premium Member phyciocc Posted September 16, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted September 16, 2015 The Fz-07 has daytime running light upfront. If you want to keep that capability AND have LED , you need signals with three wires (or have to do a lot more gyrations with install). I found THESE three-wires one on Ebay. They are not fancy designs, but they work. I am a crazy Physics Prof. Beware

marc
i just fitted some new LED indicators to the back. but the hazards are not working anymore? left/right works like it should. anyone know what i possibly did wrong?
Global Moderator mjh937 Posted October 31, 2015 Global Moderator Share Posted October 31, 2015 That is weird. It seems unlikely, but are the hazards on a separate fuse?
marc
i have no idea, all i did was take the stock ones off and put the new indicators on - soldered onto the stock connectors.
Global Moderator mjh937 Posted November 1, 2015 Global Moderator Share Posted November 1, 2015 I would double check all the fuses just in case. The other problem could be the switch. I always check my turn signals but have not checked my hazard lights for ages. Perhaps the switch failed a while back and it has nothing to do with the new lights. Another thing that just sprang to mind, you said you changed the rear signals. If the front are still incandescent bulbs perhaps the amperage difference with both the front ones powered at the same time is the problem. marc
oh, that could be. i left the stock ones in the front for now.

I'm also hearing mixed things about having to modify the place where the signal mounts. True or false. Thank you I appreciate the time.

Global Moderator mjh937 Posted November 8, 2015 Global Moderator Share Posted November 8, 2015 Those look great! Do the front signals act as running lights as well? From what I have read the non-North American models do not have running lights, so they do not have the three wires on the front signals. I do not know if they still use the three wire connectors. Mine has three wire connectors front and rear, but just with two wires going to the rear ones.
