geezer Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 I frequently hit 80-100 on the freeway and the wind doesn't bother me as much. The Givi windscreen I use keeps it off the chest a little, but there's no way getting around the head blast... unless you completely tuck with your chin on the gas tank, but then you look funny. I was taking a new way home and thought I was at a 4 way stop pulled out and realized my mistake hit the breaks hard while I was turning and the bike went down like I was on butter. Thank god for frame sliders the only thing that happened was I bent the Clutch arm and must have scraped the tank with my foot. I was only going like 5 mph when it happened. I was able to get home and put everything back in place.
