One hour south of you and definitely feeling your pain. I swear I have more saddle time on my FZ-07 sitting in the garage than I do on the road.

It's a FLO oil filter from PC Racing, and it's NOT disposable.  You just take out the cartridge, rinse it with a little brake cleaner, let it dry, and reinstall.

They're pricey, but not so, if you intend to keep the motorcycle. The PCS1 model also fits many other bikes.

Looks better than an ugly oil filter poking out there and it's billet aluminum, nc! Yes, worth the price if keeping bike a long time, agreed.
