I was googling looking for some replacement seat options for the FZ and this site came in one of the searches. Glad I found it.

We are thrilled that you found us!

Google loves our forum, we rank really well in search results.

Unlike Facebook groups, what you type here gets seen and helps a lot of people learn about the fz-07.

My boyfriend and I found this forum just from googling different questions that we had with our FZ's! This forum always had the answers :)

I was stranding on a desert island for 30 days, starving, when one day I spotted a huge glass jug floating in the shallows of the lagoon. I went to retrieve it and found there was a letter inside. It read, "From FZ-07 Forum: FZ-07 Forum or die!" So I floated back to the mainland on the bottle and the rest is history. FZ-07 Forum saved me life. 😃

I was researching right after I sold my Harley and was torn between an '09, an'07 and the Stripple 675. I found the site on 'windows edge' search. I liked it better than the other forums.

I have a fair amount of knowledge from many years of riding, but needed opinions from other '07' owners...so here I am.

By accident...One drunken night i couldn't log into the FZ-07 forum .....so I registered again and --voila: All of a sudden I was here. Anyway, no reason to leave, seems all the other forums are pretty dead.

Just bought a 2018 MT07 myself, so figured I'd check out the forums.  My experience has always been that bike specific forums are absolutely invaluable resource (and a great way to kill some time, too!)  In my early research, several links hand brought me to this forum, so it seemed like the place to start.

Google.....After purchasing my 2018 MT07 I researched this forum for about a month and decided I needed to sign up. From what I read so far this forum has been very beneficial.

I've had my endorsement since I was 17, my parents let me get it because the MSF course where I'm from is actually about half off if you get it before your 18. My Dad owned a motorcycle before and he thought it was a great idea since it would teach me how to drive a car better because I would have more awareness of motorcycles.

I'm 23 now, and have wanted a motorcycle every riding season since then. I've ridden sporadically over the last few years. When I would come home from college my Grandpa on my mom's side had an old 1980's (I'm guessing) Honda 250 that I would putt around town on when I was home on some weekends and breaks. I also was able to ride my other Grandpa's mid-2000 Harley Sportster 883 while I would come back from college as well.

I moved back up to the PNW from living in LA for two years and I haven't even thought about owning a motorcycle again until after this winter. It's been super nice out for the last month now. It scratched the itch and now I need to get a motorcycle. I've been wanting one for so long.

So I thought that meant it was time to start researching which bike could be for me. I had already done a ton of research before so I knew getting a super sport would be stupid idea. I was looking at used options on bikes I won't be too upset if I drop and would be good to re-learn and spend some more time on. I was thinking R3, CB300F or R, Ninja 300 or 250, 390 Duke, etc...

I went into a dealership and because I had ridden before he suggested something with a little more displacement like an FZ-07, CB500F or R, or something in the 500-750cc intermediate range since he thinks I'd out grow a 300 pretty fast since I've actually ridden in the street probably about 700 miles total over the last few years in the spring and summer.

As soon as I saw the FZ-07, I feel in love. I went home and watched some reviews on YouTube and different motorcyclist magazines, I knew I had to have it. But here's the dilemma, I would have to finance it and the insurance quote for a financed FZ-07 for me was like $250/mo, and if I bought it cash and owned the bike than insurance is like <$30/mo.

So I don't have an FZ-07 at all... BUT I'm in the process of saving up!

I found this forum because I was looking on Reddit at r/motorcycles, r/motorcycleporn, and r/FZ07 after falling in love with it at the dealership. I was curious what mods people like to do to them and when I Googled, a thread from this site was the first result on the SERP.

This was about 2 weeks ago and I've been coming back to this site every day to research and learn more about this bike and have been watching a ton of videos on how good this bike sounds with different exhausts.

I finally created an account and this is my first post.

I'm not an owner yet but I'm hoping I'll save up the rest by September and buy a '17 for cash outside of riding season and ride it through the winter and all next Summer. Hopefully able to talk them down since there sales will be slowing down.
