Header torque spec.

Recommended Posts

What are the factory torque specs for the header nuts to the motor?  Yosh is freaking lazy and decided to put "torque to factory spec" in their instructions.  I've searched on here and wasn't able to find even a how to on exhaust install let alone a torque spec for these bolts.

Thanks,

Jason

Service manual says 14 ft-lbf, never seen a torque wrench lower than 20ft-lb though. Unless you have an in-lb torque wrench which would be 168 in-lb

I just did it by hand, and left the torque wrench in the toolbox

My Craftsman 3/8" drive torque wrench goes down to 5 ft lbs.

If you need a good install guide, Akrapovic makes really good instructions with theirs, and you can look at them on their website.
