Official North GA thread

I hope we can get this thread going again. I'm headed out tomorrow morning for my first ride on my (new to me) 07. The plan is to do a loop in the North Georgia mountains that includes Wolfpen Gap. If you're familiar with the Six Gap figure-eight, I'll be doing the westerly half of that ride. The plan is to leave from the Starbucks on Peachtree Parkway, near GA 400 exit 13, sometime between 8 and 9 a.m.
 
I'd love to have some good company on this ride if anyone is interested. I would characterize my riding style as spirited but safe; I'm not into riding like a hooligan, doubling or tripling the speed limit or generally showing off. Hope you feel the same.

Also try MeetUp.com and that website's related app.  There are two really good groups that post rides there for riders in the Atlanta area almost every weekend:  Georgia Associates of Sportbikes (GAS) and Sport Bike Riders of GA (SBRG).
