yamabob
The TZ750 was a game changer for racing in the 1970's. Purpose built production racing machines were unknown, tuners would modify racing frames to various engines. Here is the Yamaha four cylinder 2 stroke monster that Kenny Roberts earned the title of King Kenny on the high banks of Daytona. One of the bikes here was purchased new in 1978 and is still owned by the same guy that rode it last weekend. He recalled competing in the F-1 AMA races at Bryar Park in NH. Global Moderator Guru Posted July 13, 2014 Global Moderator Share Posted July 13, 2014 Amazing machines! Yamaha used to make the best in 2 strokes. Very reliable too. Still riding it after owning it for 36 years! Thanks for sharing.
lonerider
Back in 1987, i felt in love with a TZR250. It was available here in Canada. But it was too expensive for my situation (i was a student). RZ350 were more practical. But still. past bikes: WR250X, KLR650, V-Strom 1000, DR650, FZ-6, SV650S, Seca II, GS400S, Seca 750, YZ80.
