Guest Ralph
The uk owners book says every service so after the first 600 miles every 6000 miles but I believe in the US the service interval is shorter, do you know which throttle body you are supposed to adjust as one is supposed to be left untouched and all adjustments done on the other. none
You only adjust the one on the right side.

westgl
Chances are after break in and the first adjustment, it wont need to be adjusted for quite a few miles. I have a few 4 carb bikes, they dont need that much adjustment, that often, as they stay in adjustment pretty well. Its kind of like valve adjustments maybe 1st time or two, then not very often after that. if it needs it often then a drop thread lock on the adjustment, so it doesn't move do to vibrations. Guest Ralph
Just done mine at 2500 miles only a tiny bit out nearly left well alone but decided to give the a very small tweak, much to my surprise it made quit a noticeable difference worth doing. Guest black06883
I did not realize that it had to be done every service.....damn it. Now I have to buy that manometer. Make your own. 3-4 feet of clear tubing. Bend in half leaving a loop in the middle/end. Zip tie together. Fill will colored fluid. (I used trans fluid years ago) And synch away. It's not how much each cylinder is pulling, it's that they pull together.
