CameronLeach
Hey Everyone, quick question for yall. I've been getting into wheelies and can comfortably clutch it up to Balance Point in second gear. I am about ready to take one of two paths and was hoping to get some of your opinions. My main goal is to slow down my wheelies to the point where I can start lot oriented riding but gradually get used to the change in tq. Route 1: BP in 2nd, BP 2nd w/t Bigger Sprocket, BP in 1st, BP in 1st w/t Bigger Sprocket. Route 2: BP in 2nd, BP in 1st, BP in 2nd w/t Bigger Sprocket, BP in 1st w/t Bigger Sprocket. Hope that made sense, thanks for any input.

Standupnfall
Lots of people can ride idle wheelies on a stock MT-07. First gear is already very low, I'd stick to learning stock first gear before you change gearing. The way to learn slow wheelies is from a stop (or like 3mph), clutch up till fully hitting BP and apply brake. Don't chase the wheelie out, that will only get dangerous and you won't be learning rear brake control which is the most important part of a wheelie. Do an hour worth of his Stop, Clutchh up, brake a few days in a row and you will make great progress.
