Taller Seat?

I've seen a lot of topics on lowering seat height, seat covers, gel inserts etc. But haven't seen anything on raising the seat height. 

Ideally I'd like to raise the seat by 1/2" at the back, and level out the slope into the tank so maybe 1" to 1-1/4" in the front. Has anybody tried this, or taken theirs to a shop to have it done?

When you install the seat there is a lil metal bracket thats meant to hook into the seat.

Try is reversing that bracket then getting some eva foam mats and stuffing underneath to raise the front abit. 

Tailoring seats in my experince is expensive and youre not certain to be happy with the end result.

when i got my corbin seat, it made it about an inch taller i think. i was able to flat foot with both feet before, now only one at a time. it also helps with being scooped into the tank. high price tag, but it's worth it imo.

I have always modded my seats. Some have been scoop shaped, others like sitting on a telegraph pole. So, most of my needs have been to flatten/level them out, &/or just thicken.  I shaped a pad for my 07 to suit and used layers of 10mm neoprene foam.  I chose a cheap neoprene sheet cover, but an upholsterer would do a proper job.  Cost me pence (cents).
