Has anyone attached a camera where the original rear view mirror is installed?  I found this on amazon but would like to see alternatives before purchasing any solution.

I tried a mount on the mirror location and found it had a lot of vibration. I printed a mount on my 3D printer that bolts to the handlebars (see pic). Much less vibration.

I like the idea.  I need to check if it will interfere with my phone mount.

I'm not sure if the vibration would be any better or worse, but it looks like RAM makes a universal mount brake reservoir mount.

I thought SP Connect had a mount that attached to the actual cover of the brake reservoir, but it looks like that's only for phones. I'm not sure if you'd be able to rig up a GoPro to it somehow.

I just ordered the following.  The RAM mount ball adapter will screw in where the original mirror was installed.3781794_ScreenShot2021-08-20at4_57_58PM.png.975f0de990cbe36ba17be25548eb1295.png

Old post, but I tried to use a ram mount installed on the mirror post and found that there was just too much vibration. An entire day's worth of riding where all the video is wavy 😂

idk if it would work for your particular camera, but quad lock has a vibration damper mount thing that has helped with my phone. might be worth looking into for camera mount.
