Guest montana07
So I'm a first time bike owner, and since I'm sure I'm not alone I thought I would share my thoughts. My background is very minimal; rode some of my friends dirt bikes about 18 years ago, and then took the MSF course a few weeks ago. Obviously I have nothing to compare to so this post will be brief. Picked the bike up this evening and of course took it for ride. Mostly around town and a few miles on a country highway(60mph speed limit). First thought, Awesome. Second thought, Awesome. Seriously though, what jumped out to me the most is just how comfortable but fun the bike was. At no point was the throttle too abrupt, or responsive, that I thought I would get in trouble, but at the same time it took off with ease when I wanted to get on it. It's light and and quick to turn, and at no point felt unstable either low speed or high. Shifts are easy and smooth, and seem very forgiving in the rev range. I'm still learning when she likes to shift, but whether low or high she never missed a beat. I took her to 60mph, and despite what I've read here, the bike felt surprisingly great, and very stable. Obligatory Pics: Excuse the shitty quality, the camera on the phone sucks, I'll break on the DSLR at some point for some bike porn.
