Slow eventual scrambler build

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share the progress of my build. I've been a member of this forum, and it's my first time sharing my progress. Just a bit of info: I have a 2016 FZ-07. It currently has 12,600 miles.  

Mods: 

Dave moss front suspension mod

R-6 Throttle 

2WDW Tune

DNA Air Filter

Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust

Brogue motorcycles headlight bracket

 

I've recently just installed the round led headlight, and I'm pleased with it. I've tried cheaper methods before, but they just ended up looking half done and messy, so I decided to spend a few hundred to get the brogue bracket. 

Then, I've added a universal windscreen (no photos up yet, will be up soon on my Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/jess_bike_guy/)

Plans:

* Maybe get the JVB seat kit to replace the OEM seat

* Upgrade tires to perhaps something I can use on light trail use (does anyone have any recommendations?)

* Steel braided brake lines

* Upgrade front suspension internals

* Replace brake fluid and pads (Doing this weekend)

Hey! I've done some of these mods--I should tell you about the JvB Moto seat and tail...the seat is hard AF!!! And all in it's over $1000 with shipping (call Chad at Twisted Spoke). But man it looks great.

Oh damn! i might have to reconsider an alternative to JvB then. I'll check out Twisted Spoke, I appreciate the comment man! thanks

It also makes your underseat storage (such as it is) hard to access. My butt is still tingling (not in a good way) after my 100-mile ride yesterday, though I had a really good time. 

 

I am now realizing writing "my butt is tingling" in the same sentence as "I had a really good time" has poor optics.
