New Fz07 MT07 race bodywork by Flexi-glass

We had the opportunity through Darren James to work with Trevor up at Flexi-glass on new bodywork for the FZ07 and MT07. 

The quality of the kit is amazing.  The tank is molded off the FZ07 stock tank and uses the stock mounting locations without the flex or need for additional bracing of other kits on the market. 

Utilizing the current ZX10R wind screen. Bodywork is 2.0”narrower to avoid dragging and clearanced to avoid the exhaust in the lower. 

The mounting kit will be built by Robem and available on the website.  

Flexi-glass is proudly made in Canada  with premium products.  
 

Cost estimated $800 upper, lower, tail, tank cover and fender plus shipping.

Is the air intake on the front of the cowl there for a specific reason?

Asymmetric designs just look neat and it’s the side with the airbox opening.  The tubes are done but the connection to the airbox I have to scan and create for Trevor at Flexiglass.

I thought they were also testing RAM Air, maybe not....lol

So the belly pan/exhaust pipe has better clearances without the need for a heat shield and/or other mods?

I have the tubes from Trevor but need to scan the two and design a mating part for the airbox. 
 

clearance is in about 2 fingers clear.  I’ll still run lava tape but only for insurance.   Should be plenty of space.

Yes.  No dirt bike bars but 41 mm forks and Subframe will work.   My subframe picks up the same mounts for the seat. There is a 5 mounting location on the underside of the tail section that mounts to a factory location my subframe can’t use.

Mount kit looks like this:

The fairing stay clamp allows you to remove the front stay without having to disturb the fairing placement and declutters the cockpit with the damper under the stay.  Angle is different than the Catalyst/AP or Sharkskinz. 

The side mounts are similar to others on the market but the length changes slightly.  Plugs are 3D printer and will upload the files on Thingiverse later so replacements are extremely cheap for the end users.  

Made in Ohio by FabFreddy who works for us and is bring true motorsports quality fabrication to the lwt class with parts like the subframes and brackets on our bikes.

Well, it's based off of the tank design, but on the stock bike, there's this big plastic thing that comes across the bottom that wouldn't be there on the race bike fairing.  Here is the only option that I see for the OEM bike:

Precut kit includes right and left tank grips.

My race bike came with some that covered a lot more area than this.  I still have the tank and can take a picture of it.

Otherwise, you wold need to get it sheet form and cut it to fit.

I like the precut ones.  The large are LG 26cm x 11cm, which I think seems just right.  I'll measure my old ones in the shop Sunday; although that AP tank bodywork will of course be different than the Flexi one.  But it's probably close enough.

Jeff, I'm using StompGrip tank grips on my AP tank cover. Its part # 55-10-0003. Fit well but I had to do some trimming. https://stompgrip.com/products/street-bike-tank-grips-volcano-0003?_pos=1&_psq=55-10-0003&_ss=e&_v=1.0. MonkeyGripp makes a couple options for the same tank cover that I've been tempted to try:
