Not not a cut.  Just failure from a poor choice of material for the application.

Ive been making the covers out of TPU since injection molding a cover isn’t financially viable.

Got unlazy this afternoon and finished the fairing stay so I could mount the bodywork.  Angle for the bodywork is much lower than the previous FZ bodywork and need to adjust for it and relocated the damper under the mount to get it out of the way.

Installed EPDM bumpers for the forks.  They just work way better than solid stops at absorbing energy.

Finished mounting the upper fairing.

Next install the lower and front fender.  Always my least favorite part having to drill for Dzus fasteners.  I normally let Mike or Russell handle this kind of stuff :)

Test fit new spacers for R6 rear Dymag.  Everything lines up and fits correctly just need to add the Dunlop.

Install and bled the Brembo GP4-RX calipers.  These things are silly nice with the T-Drive rotors and Z04 pads this thing should stop OK I guess :)

Couple steel fasteners to swap out for titanium but pretty close to tossing it in the trailer.

Haha, I threatened to take one caliper and rotor off my bike if Tony doesn't stop using them so much, lol.

Nice looking rig BTW.

What aftermarket throttle are you using?

I have the OEM R6 throttle tube on my bike, and I find that it's a long reach to get to wide open. My last bike had a really short throttle, and I got use to that.
