Premium Member Evill_Ed Posted March 7, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted March 7, 2020 So let’s say you have Vagabond Frame sliders (your favorite style) and this happens. (Don’t ask) You go to order a replacement but they are out of stock indefinitely. What would you do? Look at your next favorite style of course, Woodcraft. Woodcraft’s have replaceable caps. What if you could modify your Vegabonds to accept replaceable caps, hmmmm. We have a lathe, a drill press and a caliper Looks promising A Honeymoon Fit! So I get to keep my Vegabond style sliders which I like best because they do not use the engine mount bolts to attach. I now have replaceable Woodcraft end caps, because we know this sh%t is gonna happen again sooner or later. And more importantly it gave me something to do on my bike today. mossrider
Haha, not to worry, my Woodies look the same on the end. Who knows how this happens. I like your work around hybrid solution!
