Some questions about installing apmoto ride height link

So problem. The lower bolt is to long and I cant pull it out because it hits the mounting play for the foot peg. Being that its held up by the footpeg I can remove it. Am I missing something?

You are correct.  I would support like my picture shows earlier.  My thread describes the same thing that you encountered.

Torque specs for the 2 bolts anyone? I just tightened as much as I could without a torque wrench for now

Service Manual: Rear shock assembly bolt (front) M10 .. 32 ft.lbs

                              Rear shock assembly nut (rear) M10.... 29 ft.lbs
