Sweet! A pair of reds! I loved noticing the subtle differences - black levers, fly screen, sliders, pillion strap, tail tidy. Really nice.

Wow HBC, you must be great at those "spot the difference between the pictures" games :).

Hah! Yeah, but I think it's because I've been a mod here for a while and been paying attention to all you guys.

Another thing: front ones "shiny bits" are blacked.

Waitasecond, that looks like @wabill's fz07.  He's out in Bellingham as well.

Here's his:

I saw your pic with the blacked out side cover and it affirmed that's what I need to do to mine.

On the left side the heel guard "swoops" nicely with the silver in the hugger

Yep. Had a nice conversation with him and a friend of his. I just happened to be riding past Starbucks and saw his bike.

I was having problems getting into my car, the key did not want to turn,
after a bit of cursing I became aware that a guy was standing at the front
of the car watching me, I then realised my car exactly the same make model
and color was 2 cars away, ever feel a right prat?

Ah, nice. Too bad Bellingham is 2 hours away from me.
Not if you head up thru Carnation to Monroe and then the back way to Granite Falls and Arlington.  Then it can take 3 or 4 hours.  Longer when you get lost between Monroe & Granite Falls, it's a maze in there if you make a wrong turn. :) Looking forward to meeting you.
