After buying this bike This October 22nd I removed the after-market luggage rack, adjusted tyre pressures, adjusted the stock shock to a softer setting and went for a test ride on an awesome road. I made 1 more adjustment and turned up the pace. Now the front and rear are balanced as well as the thing doesn't want to buck me off over some abrupt Woops anymore.

Belated: Full Yoshimura Exhaust, Flash Tune programable ECU, Comfort Seat (NICE!)

Bike/Rider loss of 13 lbs... FREE! I just did the Covid-19 mod and I noticed quicker acceleration and I don't feel like an over-stuffed sausage in my riding gear.

Additionally, I got to eat plenty of Pizza and Crepes... On the count of they are the only things that would slide under the door.

I shouldn't joke, I know... But what else can you do?

Wow.  Haven't posted in a while and surprised to see this thread inactive....

Went to get safety check and the guy said I need new tires to pass.  I knew that it was getting close, but hadn't realized that I probably should have replaced tires many miles ago (after a little research).  Anyhow - ordered tires from DennisKirk and was surprised at how quickly they arrived to Hawaii.  Contacted local moto shop to mount new tires and was told I could get a pretty good discount if I brought in just the wheels in lieu of the whole bike.  No problem.  removed wheels and took them down.  They got the new tires mounted and gave me a call to pick up the next day.  Great! got home (45+ minutes away) and realized that they mounted the rear tire in the wrong direction!  I was not impressed.  Took the tire back today and they had it swapped in an hour and called me to pick up.  Tech stated that he was just following the previous tire and that it was mounted in the wrong direction (that's a bold faced lie), but whatever.  The shop is the only one available and they gave me a $25 gift card for the trouble.  Got home and what did I find?  They didn't put my valve stem cover back (aftermarket aluminum) and scratched the piss out of the edge of the rim and nicked it pretty good on the side that was conveniently facing away from me when I picked the tire up.  Needless to say I'm pissed, but I'm left without recourse except to spend more time and effort to pursue likely a fruitless fight.  At this point not worth it, but just a shitty progression to a shitty week.

(Sorry for the rant, but needed an outlet)

On the upside - I'm looking forward to seeing what a difference the new tires will make (Pilot Road 4) from the previous Battlax BT023's.

Hope you guys are having a much better spring than I've had.

Changed my rear tire yesterday and put the bike back together today. Had some difficulties with the rear caliper alignment so I had to do it twice. Brand new PR4 on the rear to match the one on the front that was changed after picking up a nail.
