I FINALLY finished my renthal installation to my satisfaction. Ultra lows with 1/8 shaved off each end and Zeta Racing bar end weights. Heavy stainless on the weights dampen real well but were too shiny for me. So i painted the weight part mettallic charcoal. Came out nice. And for anyone looking, zeta racing end weights have a 13.5mm  adapter and fit renthal bars perfectly.  Happy camper now! Better comfort, smoother than stock vibration wise and i dont feel cramped in corners.

Looks good, man. You know that sticker comes off,right? 1f61b.png

Its funny, when i bought the bike new it was matte silver and i couldnt get that sticker off fast enough. I later got my hands on the glacier blue panels i really wanted in the first place. Ive been so happy with the blue, i dont even notice the sticker anymore.

That blue does look good. The dealership I bought my bike told me that had one in stock so I looked it up online and hated the glacier blue. But when I saw it in person I really, really liked it. Took me a second to realize it was the same bike. Something about those bikes, cameras don't do it justice. I haven't seen a color on these bikes that I don't dig. They're just good looking bikes all around. KTM should take notes and stop painting EVERY bike they sell the exact same color.

Shout out to Stev74 for his gauge relocation bracket design. Very reasonable cost, easy to attach, seems well made, and most importantly for me now I can check the gauges with a glance instead of a head nod

That's the power of the FZ. Breaking locks and taking names.

Cleaned and waxed the chain on the newly bought paddock stand.

It's so much easier to clean with a paddock stand than pushing bike around to spin the chain around.

So riding it down the street spraying the chain is not a good thing?

Not sitting upright while doing it. Standing on your head on the seat is the proper way.

Does speeding while spraying the chain makes the wax go deeper?

Added an Ermax smoked windscreen, Nelson-Rigg CL-890 MINI expandable sport saddle bags and K-Tech Razor Lite shock.

Then went on a 280 mile ride!

No biggie but recently I bought a kickstand plate and a garage door opener that saves me from having to get off the bike, walk to the front door & through the house to the garage to hit the inside button on the wall.

Another gadget that will cause me to gain another pound every year, probably but I like it.

Josh at RSC hooked me up with a lever so I installed that as soon as I could.  Thing feels amazing. on to the crash cage, subcage, and sprockets!

Installed a new set of adjustable levers. I like the clutch a little closer to the bar and these did the job nicely. Full lenght, not shorties. I had another set of the same type last week, but the blue they came in didnt mesh well with my glacier blue. I think the silver looks much nicer. Definately compliments the bar ends i painted pretty well.
