Nice! I am going to get to the west side this summer and check that bad boy out. Bring on the boost 🤟

You should swing by the west side during Metro Cruise- that's when a majority of the toys come out to play 😎...

Took 6.5wks to arrive on my door step( granted they emailed me next day and said it's the year end rush, so it may arrive a few weeks later than planned)... Quality is pretty damn good, nice powercoat, the aluminum airbox welds are up to my standards I use at work, the exhaust pipe has nice TIG welds that are cleaned up inside( better than my Yoshi in terms of quality 😅), even the brake line extensions are made by HEL... it looks like it's a well put together kit and really didn't skimp/cheap on parts such as fittings, breathers, even the BOV is made by TurboSmart, overall workmanship, etc...

My only gripe so far is the internal turbo waste gate, not a big deal or deal breaker by any means, it's just all my turbo car/truck builds have external waste gates... I can probably thumb thru TurboSmart catalog and fit a external waste gate style housing one of the days and fab up a wastegate dump pipe... that's the one thing I would change if I built a turbo system from scratch myself...

I'm innocent- I was a good boy, wasn't late for work, did all my projects on time, etc 😝

I may have left out (bribed) real chocolate chip cookies, not that gluten free, sugar free, coloring free, flour free, dairy free, organic cardboard with printed chocolate chips kids eat nowadays

Loaded the saddlebags with gifts to deliver and ran around playing Santa for the past couple days. Think I'm gonna like this Road 5 rear tire.

Polished and greased this bolt of the connecting arm thing.

Not a big problem for the pivot point at the moment and would surely work for years, but is there a technical reason why they let every bolt going through spacers dry like the Gobi Desert?

Errmmm ~16.800 miles from early 2015. If I disassemble my socialistic 2stroke from 1987, parts are not looking that way.

But to save the honor of Yamaha, all other bolts of the relay arm stuff where looking good. I coated everything with grease like I always did  and it was never a problem.

I took off both wheels and took off everything to have them powder coated. I am 99% sure I am going to do white because I keep telling myself cleaning can’t be any worse that flou yellow.
I am also debating replacing wheel bearings but probably not necessary at only 4K miles on a 17. What do you all think?
Wont have wheels back for a couple of weeks so in the meantime I will install slipper, braided brake lines and most of 520 conversion.

Don’t extend the swing arm, just go for it and shet yourself like a man every time you touch the gas 😂

Hybrid ceramic bearings and/or a captive spacer kit would prob do you good. :P

well it can't hurt anyway

White wheels are ALWAYS classy looking. Go for it. Dirt is attracted to all colors equally! You can play around with bits of vinyl to make subtle, removable style changes here and there, too.

Ain't that just how it goes, lol. I had a xs650/750 tracker project in one corner that went a year, 2, 5, 10, as shinier bottlecaps rolled by. I finally sold the whole works to take up someone else's garage space, haha. In the other corner were my RD's and related 2 stroke crap. I moved that 3 full pickup truck loads to a new home too. Now I have less space in there than I ever did. More, stupid, priceless, junk.

Ooh, what's that?

Falling in love with the CP2 is a large reason for that project stalling. I'm kinda bored with I-4's now! But I also know that particular CB engine is quite torquey.

Well a little too much loot at this time but I think I need to replace them. I was going to order som All Balls front and rear for under $50. Decent enough bearings? I also need to get me valve stems. Any recommendations?

I went with world wide bearings hybrid ceramic kit through Paul @bellissimoto think it was about that for all bearings for both wheels

For valvestems, I got these... I had an issue with one of the Schrader threads not cut far enough, the central valve seal wasn't seating.

Just chased the threads and its worked just fine over the past 2.5 years

brand name right angle valve stems like these:

moto_d_angled_valve_stems_2__27038__6525

Our angled motorcycle valve stems come in black and is designed to make pressure adjustments much easier. Purchase a set of Moto-D Racing valve stems today!

I've got them on my rims and I like how much easier they are to use.

I use the ones RMATVMV sells for like $5 each. Nothing fancy, but the chrome holds up fine and I haven't had any leaks. I use a 90 up front but found I like a 45 better on the rear, especially with our wide wheels.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was going to order these. Any reason not to? I have had some  Moto-D parts and they were good. Starting to get cheaper on my purchases if I can get away with it.

I shot Paul an email on the bearings. I should have his cell number since I have got so much from him lately. I can get All Balls front and rear bearings for $22.68 shipped. Just got 520 sprockets, brake lines from him today....

The only thing I did today was hit 4,000 miles on the odometer by taking advantage of these 50 degree winter days!!
