Today I told my road bikes ( FJ-09 and the little HP-07) that dirt scooter is getting some love, scooter needs some carb work... they both gave me the silent treatment 😓... greedy little monsters 👀

Ok, now I have to see some pics of Dirt Scooter so I know just who is upsetting poor lil 07. ( I don't care about 09, he's a bully!)

The FJ-09 is a lady, her name is LeeLoo ...

HP-07 is ole scrappy villan named Harvey Dent... Thanks to having two different color plastics...left side gunmetal black... right side is pearly white...

Ole scooter is getting a new carb... OEM carb is going on the shelf... 2012 wr250F...

Those WR250F's are great bikes. Super tough and nimble. I try to ride my buddies every time I can.

they are even tougher when one removes the battery, lights and starter and revalves the suspension for MX and not trails... I really like the 250F engine vs the 450F engine... the 250F forces one to keep on the gas and use the outside lines instead of suffling into the "race line traffic"...

I installed the revized 2018 rear shock on my 2017. Put about 60 miles on it to/from work. So far, im actually pretty impressed. Now i just need r3 dampers up front and quality fork oil. That should be the end of my super budget suspension upgrades.

Those square jobbies just happened to be what was already attached, but I don't mind the look and they're bright since they have real bulbs and amber lens'.

DRZ cowl might not be for everyone, but I dig the look. Found a dude eBay selling his unused rim stickers and nabbed them for $12.99. Coupled with the new headlight situation, I like the muscle bike vibe.

Maybe it was the downward angle in the other pics that made me not like your headlight setup at first but "I See It Now" and I like it better than stock for these reasons. It's sits higher, I don't like our stock light sitting as low as it does and the housing covers that ugly dead zone above our light and it acts as a windscreen or at least gives the appearance of one. I like the shape of the light's lens better also. Our bike was designed with a lot of sharp angles so the angles on it complement the bike I think. I've seen people do a whole lot worse to their bikes and to the point of looking downright gaudy. Good job!

You pretty much nailed what i was shooting for. High enough to hide the unfinished look and getting rid of the weird rams horns looking turn signal mounts was my main goal. I actually like the stock light ALOT, just hated the turn signal mounts. When my Cyclops LED bulb died I just went this direction since it was sitting on the shelf instead of throwing more money/effort at the stock light. Plus, I thought the wide light would for better with the muscular, bulldog stance of the bike. The stock low headlight always made the bike look a little drowsy or timid. Never cared for that either. I think she looks like she's holding her chin up now ;)

Here are some pictures.  The included springs were too long so I have new ones on the way.

Rode the Back of the Dragon with a buddy today. Probably only around 300 miles, but about 9hrs of seat time. I absolutely love my FZ. Corbin seat is worth every penny. Brosef's 60k mile '94 VFR750 looks showroom fresh and sounds amazing. My phone camera sucks, but it was a great day!

I would've given you the silent treatment too

Giving the dirt guy a carb and not letting me breathe better ¶:
