Help... akra carbon full, one pipe turning blue

Recommended Posts

Spm13

Recently installed the akrapovic carbon full system and everything went pretty smooth but for some reason the pipe on the left side (looking at from front) is turning blue/anodized color and the other one is just kinda as expected... I tuned it as well with the right map... I kno it's a steel exhaust rather than titanium but still, is this anything to be alarmed about??

Couple ideas.  You tuned one cylinder instead of both??  Exhaust leak causing one pipe to be hotter. Or most likely could be just the way it is. If it runs good with no funny business, its probably nothing to worry about. Gas it up and go! 💪

Use tissue paper to check for leak at the header gasket. Good luck.

Loosen the bolts on the other header to make the other pipe turn blue and match.

Ha! Just kidding. I would do what @DewMan said, I would bet it's sucking in air. GL!
