I made two different batches of chilli, testing new recipes to defend my chilli championship. Walleye pepper chilli in foreground was a hit but they seemed to like the sirloin tip w/bacon version on back burner the best. Heathens. They did wipe out my apple pie moonshine however. Found out Suzuki con-rods make just enough power to open dos equis bottles, lol. I got 3 sets of SV fairings glassed up and ready for the season. Slipper in my motor and buttoned up w/o injury, never mind the small fire. A little bit of setup on my chassis and drilled a filter by-pass in an SV fuel pump to get another 15 years out of it on track, haha Tore down some old blown SV motors to salvage parts in preparation for a couple motor builds. Neat little caliper from a bygone era. That skeletonized rotor is pretty cool too, weighs like nothing, Then I putzed around fitting up the rear seat and realized I'm off a smidgen on the set back of course. Started patching up the hand-me-down bodywork too. Stuff should look fine when finished. Yesterday was -32F actual, today a little better, but a good weekend to hide in the shop. Did you leave the rear brake line the same length? I do like the way its turned around on the master cylinder. Heck I like all of it, wheel, rotor, caliper too. But that tyre!!!! Also stock airbox?? The SS Spiegler line I had on there before fit. I just end for ended it to get the angles i wanted and swapped the bleeder screw and banjo bolt in the caliper to get the length right. Don't get me started on the airbox, that's covered adnuseum elsewhere here. I've done extensive testing and this is the best I've come up with. mossrider Posted February 9, 2020 Author Share Posted February 9, 2020 So due to stupid weather I had 4 1/2 feet of snow to get off the roofs. In return I got 10 days of stupid sickness, disease and pestilence as a reward for getting the snow off roof. I haven't got much done until today. So w/o further ado, I got the motors swapped over.
