I'm starting a winter project soon and could use a short section of a crashed 41mm sanchion tube for test fitting during a machining process.  Only needs to be a few inches long.  Will pay shipping.  Thanks.

A top triple (stock offset) designed to allow standard clip-ons to mount a bit higher.  Just bought a boring head for the manual mill at work.  Learning more stuff as I go.

I look away just long enough to put Carrillo rods and Wiseco pistons in my cart and you're already into trouble...

Ha, Ha!  It's going to be a busy winter.  Luckily the bike is going inside the porch instead of the garage.  I'll be able to work on the bike in my pajamas!  lol  In the garage, I would have to shovel a snow path to get there after storms.

So, started machining.  Going to be a slow process while I have free time at work.  Luckily this little mill is rarely used at my work place.

Question, do the manufactures generally spec their bikes to even millimeters?  My top triple is still on my bike along with fairings so measuring is tricky.  I measured a center to center fork spacing of 189.84mm.  I'm guessing the true fork spacing is an even 190mm.  Does anyone know?  Otherwise I'll just measure again this weekend with some of the parts removed.  Thanks.

Also, is the stock offset 40mm?  Thanks.
