Premium Member effzee07 Posted November 6, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted November 6, 2014 Sorry, I couldn't find any other threads 100% relating to this. Can anyone confirm what levers will work with the FZ07? Like FZ1, FZ09, FZ8, etc? I'm finding way more options for those bikes, but can't find a definite answer to if they will 100% work on the 07. I don't want to modify any levers, or factory equipment....just looking for a nice simple swap. Thank you! mjesenovec
This link i've saved for future use lists the FZ-07 by itself for fitment... http://www.madhornets.com/levers-set-shorty-standard-length-adjustable-foldable-yamaha-fz07-fz-07-mt07-2014-6-color-options/ However, this ebay lever shows it is compatible with multiple bikes, including FZ6R, FZ09, FZ8, etc. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-CNC-Shorty-Brake-Clutch-Hand-Levers-Set-Yamaha-FZ6-FZ07-FZ8-FZ09-FZ1-XJ6-/400759553829 After sitting on multiple models, I never noticed any of the yamaha levers looking or feeling any different from each other. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they use the same, if not very similar levers for all of their non-supersport sport bikes. Doesn't makes sense inventory/parts-wise to have completely different levers on each model.
Premium Member hobbs Posted November 7, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted November 7, 2014 For certain levers I believe some folks on here were able to take the bushing out of the stock levers and they worked fine. Don't know if that info is if any use. Everything went braap.
