Disable Starter Relay

To disable the starter relay, would a break on the blue/white wire at the starter relay connector be correct?

Why do you want to disable the starter relay?

i installed an alarm that has a starter disable option. figured why not use it.

Thanks. I was just wondering why. I am not the greatest at reading wiring diagrams, but, according to the diagram I am looking at (of a 2014 but I would guess it's similar for subsequent year models) it looks like the blue/white wire goes from the relay to a joint coupler and then the ECU. Hopefully someone who can read the wiring diagrams better than I can provide clearer information.

thanks. yeah a traced a similar path. just want to confirm if that is the best wire to interrupt.

for those who install an alarm with a starter kill or would like to simply put a hidden switch, a break in blue/white wire works just fine. for safety i checked if the bike will remain running if this circuit is opened which it does.
