O2 sensor electrical plug end won’t disconnect

I'm trying to remove the stock O2 sensor, and I cannot figure out how to decouple the electrical junction.  It sure seems like there is a tab I need to depress, or pry, or pinch.  Help?

There is a barb that needs to be pushed in to release the clip, it’s not very obvious to see (don’t just pull!).

It took me a while to figure it out too.

^ Yes, and it's not very user friendly either. You have to work it quite a bit to get off. It's a PITA, but you can get it if you are patient.

@Yamaholic Mike did you ever figure this out? this is exactly where I find myself and am scared to damage the wires

I had found a YouTube video that shows the little barb that needs to be pushed.  Once I had it figured out, presto
