Actually from UK, I just sold a Versys 650 ADV type bike in favour of the much lighter MT-07 and came here in search of ideas. I still plan to do a few ADV type tours, but doing it the Light Way Round, with just Tank Bag and Kriega Tail Pack. In the first instance, I was looking for the elusive Moto Cage crash bars. Here I was told Japan only (though I have seen a few) and on this Forum I learned that the Moto Cage model was in Europe but not US. Still, on this Forum I found a Link to a German company KFM which had them in stock and they're now on the way via UK to Thailand. The bike I bought is a 2015 model (13k kms) and is already equipped with YSS suspension fore & aft, an Akrapovic exhaust and a few other mod's. Later changes/additions will include the Moto Cage bars plus R&G Racing protectors, rear peg removal, higher vis' (but discreet) lighting, seat and bars raised, engine sliders etc. For now it looks like this though. I now use "y'all" (UK too). It seems kinda(!) more friendly version of 'everyone'. Texans are friendly. Just messaged my daughter with it. I just noticed you mirrors sticking straight up, looks very odd and to be honest they lessen your field of view like that. Are you aware of that? Maybe you are and just like the looks, IDK. Agreed, it's as it came but the standard mirrors are going back on....vision is just too restricted however cool the bar end ones look......or don't. You can twist them outwards, but they're still too small. I also have an Exciter 150 and they can go on that. I've raised the bars the standard 20 mm......be looking at more like 50 mm later. I'll be getting the seat foam increased by 25 mm too. Moto Cage bars due soon and a few other mod's then I'll take another photo'. Really like the silver on the front fender as opposed to the blue on my year. Might have to try playing around with some silver vinyl on the fender.
