Yep, you forgot new top bearing and race for headtube, it's different. No need to lengthen the forks, just do a nice upgrade if you're so inclined or budget fix if cash strapped. Or an R6 conversion if you like. I'm just throwing out all the common options. All the common cartridge kits fit stock length forks. The 10mm thing is the rough amount you can raise the forks, if deemed necessary, in the tripples before you encounter potential interference issues. Right, but you did a mash up of various parts like everyone does when they retrofit parts onto an FZ07. You used R1 forks with an FZ09 stem welded to the lower with stock bearings and an FZ09 upper tree. Point being it's seldom a simple bolt on replacement.
