Everyone is taking a hit. How bad we don't know yet. All I can do is:

If my local track opens for trackdays- Go. (CMRA events too)

When Moto-America kicks off- Go to as many as I can, within reason.

Buy what I need locally- right now it's a coolant flush coming up. oil and filter change soon.

^^ Your right, think of that for a second or a few minutes, you'll pull hard Brappin out the other side.

Prolly gonna be some rough sailing for a while...

^^ A while is also correct. It'll pass, and you'll be quoting the 'Theory of Relativity' in no time flat.

Hang in there.👍

The current link options are fine.  This was an early design with a major design flaw.

I also believe that there were also some circumstances that caused this failure, testing by manufacturer said that this piece would sustain way more load than any motorcycle could put on it at any time.

I've had aluminum parts fail like that before.  It's a fatigue failure.  Aluminum can not handle those loads without more bulk.  The failure point is a high stress area.
