captainkool4
Anyone with Gilles tooling rearset got advice? In order to attach the bracket to the master cylinder I have to pull it such that the rear brake light spring is engaged. It seems impossible to connect the rearset without having the spring pulled. NRWhiteKnight
I don't have the Gilles rear set, but the brake switch itself should be adjustable if it is the OEM switch. I do not know if an aftermarket switch is adjustable the same way or not. There are two plastic nuts on it, similar to the master cylinder itself. Loosen the bottom one and the turn the top one so that the switch extends closer to the pedal, thereby reducing the spring tension until the brake light is not on when the pedal is in it's home position. 2018 MT-07 - Mods: Shorty Levers, Radiator Guard, Puig Sport Windscreen,Air box Snorkel Removed.
