Hey all, in hoping for a quick favor from anyone that owns a 2018 model with the revised suspension. I need to know, when mounted on the bike, which way does the rebound adjuster face? To the left or the right? Also, what are the factory preload and rebound settings?

1. It "faces" to the left.
2. It has 7 settings, 1 being softest, 7 being hardest.
3. It was set on 4 when purchased.

Oh sweet. Thanks for the super fast responce. Is number 2  and number 3 both referring to preload or rebound?

They refer to the preload adjustment. I didn't mention the rebound damping setting, as I misread your original question. My mistake.  Rebound damping adjustment:
 - Is also left-facing
 - Isn't labelled numerically, is just a screw, but comes preset very near to the "middle" setting
 - Has a three-screw-turn range, all the way counter-clockwise being softest

  • Thanks 1

Ok. Thats makes sense, turning the scew tighter "tightens" the rebound action. Thank you so much. So i know where to set it as a baseline. Obviously ill set sag first and do a lot of test riding. Again thanks.
