Slacker V.2 with Woodcraft axle sliders?

I was curious if anyone has experience using the Slacker Digital Sag Scale V2 with Woodcraft Front & Rear axle sliders installed?

The Slacker unit attaches to the end of the axle via magnet in normal use. Obviously axle slider pucks hinder the use of a magnetic mount. Thankfully the Woodcraft pucks are designed with quick removal pins but I'm not sure if there's a usable location to mount the slacker unit on the puck mount's protrusions even with the pucks removed.

Yes, I know sag can be checked via tape measure and many other much cheaper solutions but that's not the subject of this thread. ✌️

I have the Slacker sag tool.  I'm sure you could use it on the swingarm near the axle.   The magnet is pretty strong so I doubt it would move but I would use some masking tape to protect the paint.  As for the forks I'm not sure but if you could find a way to mount it securely up at the triple clamp area, it'll work upside down.

I think Dave moss uses this trackside now , or something similar

Would imagine taking sliders off isn't a concern

Maybe get a piece of steel tube just big enough to cover the slider?

That gives me an idea that a large socket might be just the ticket for that. 👍

Thanks for the options. 👍

FYI: Motool announces the release of the Slacker v3 coming in November. I'm not associated with Motool in anyway I just think they make a really cool tool.

Copy/Paste from a press release I got in my inbox today:

Slacker V3- Ships Fall of 2019

Greetings!

I am very excited to announce we will be releasing the new Slacker Digital Suspension Tuner V3 this fall. Slacker has a new look, hardware updates and now works on street, adventure and off-road bikes straight out of the box!

Thank You,

John Casebeer

President- Motool Inc

Motool.co

The Next Generation

The new Slacker V3 now includes all the accessories you need to use it on your street, adventure or off-road bikes. The V3 is so much more than a sag scale that we are re-branding it as the Slacker Digital Suspension Tuner in recognition of it's true capabilities. We have beefed Slacker up, trimmed some fat and gave it a fresh new look and a 2-year limited warranty!

Optimized for MTB

The new Slacker V3 universal magnet post has been reduced in length and optimized for the new MTB Hex Key Axle Inserts (sold separately). Slacker is already being used by Evil Bikes, Plus 3 MTB and All Out Racing. Slacker is a must have tool for any serious mountain bike rider.

Motool Service Assistant, Now Includes MTB!

Our new Motool Service Assistant app puts all the Slacker digital suspension tuner docs, videos and recommended settings right at your finger tips! You will find a quick reference guide with recommended sag settings, a full Slacker PDF user guide and a Slacker video user guide for off-road, street, adventure and mountain bikes.

FYI: The Slacker v3 is available early and there a 25% discount code "V3VIP" if used by Sept 23rd. The code will get you the new version, which has all the accessories for all types of bikes, even Mountain bikes, cheaper than  the v2 version that only comes with the accessories for the specific bike setup you choose whether it be street, dirt or Adventure unless you buy the needed accessories for the different styles of bikes. There are also some other nice changes on the v3 that are explained on the link below. If you already have a v2 slacker I'm not sure it would be worth upgrading but if you've been eyeballing a Slacker but just haven't pull the trigger on one.... I think now is the time.

I don't think you're going  to find a better deal on the Slacker if you've been considering getting one.  I'll be ordering one next week since I'm out of town right now.

I had trouble finding the v3 on their page but this link from the promo email I received takes me directly to the v3 page which explains what's new or improved with the v3.

Bike setup is key to a fun and safe ride, the new Slacker Digital Suspension Tuner V3 makes it super simple for anyone to quickly...

Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Motool, other than being a fan of their slacker tool.

Did you get it? If so what are your thoughts and experiences with use and function. I'm curious as I don't have a reliable source to take measurements for me while I'm sitting on the bike. @DewMan

I have gotten the new V3 but I have not had the opportunity to make use of it yet. But I hope to soon. I've not seen/read any bad reviews on the tool and if it were half the price they ask for it I think anyone half serious about their suspension would get it the for the accuracy, speed of use, repeat-ability and single person use.

I'll post my thoughts on it once I use it.

Had the slacker for several years with no issue's. Small hook topside,  modified  backside and added 1/4" stud and drilled 1/4" hole in slider, works great. Lift rear tire with kickstand zero out the hand remote, stand bike back up for bike sag, seat on bike for rider sag done. FYI- I hold a 20lb dumbbell  in my gut instead of putting on full gear. My penske shock- bike 6mm,  rider  28mm = total 34mm sag.
