Bad Practice

Riding like this in traffic is bad practice. This is an old video but I'm only using it to make a point of how when you ride in traffic you should use more caution and slow down a bit to give yourself enough time to react and avoid a crash. If the guy in this video had been going slower and paying better attention he could've been on the brakes and stopped before he hit the car.

I agree @Beemer. This rider could he possibly avoided this had he paid a bit more attention and slowed down a bit. It was clear traffic was slowing down, which should have been an indication that he should have paid more attention to his surroundings. I wonder if he even saw the gap in the middle lane the car that pulled out was intending to fill or go through? We may never know.
