AZtom
Hey guys, I'm looking to spice up the versatility of my 2018 MT07. Ive read a few articles on people putting dual sport tires on and what not to make them a bit off road friendly, does anyone have advice on tires and sizes? Thanks! Global Moderator mjh937 Posted May 28, 2019 Global Moderator Share Posted May 28, 2019 @AZtom, here is a thread that might be helpful. Use the forum search function and type off-road tires as there are other threads too.
kylerhsm
I'm running dual sports on my MT03. I have the TKC80 front with a Shinko 805 rear and its works great. I own an MT07 as well, but wouldn't be wanting to use it on dirt roads because it has very cheap and harsh suspension. The MT03 is vastly superior in this department and soaks up the bumps no problem. Either way, consider how much road/dirt you want to be doing. TCK's and 805's are really good for a 50/50 split. Take a look at Shinko 705's for something a bit more road biased, probably 70/30. But be prepared, it will be a bumpy ride Edited May 28, 2019 by kylerhsm
