Mt07 conversion in a supermoto

Cool! I've told myself in the past I might do the same with my bike when/if I ever get bored with it. going from naked to supermoto is a good choice and natural choice I think since the bike sort of leans in that direction.  GL and put up some pics when you complete it. Video of it in action would be a plus!

You don't need to use outside image hosting here. Just upload your pics.

In fact, im deleting these pics because they are served on an unencrypted and un protected server.  This forum is on an encrypted and protected server, so these pics are throwing up HTTP warnings and Google wont index this thread.

Come back and upload pics. And maybe read that article on the front page on how to upload pics and other forum actions.

It doesn't really make sense.

A Supermoto is a dirt bike running 17" rims with road tyres. So you're going to put dirt bike suspension on your MT07 just to convert it to then run 17's?

Sounds like a waste of money to only make the bike handle worse.

Sweet, more details and pics please. How about putting it on a couple of scales and giving us a weight.

What did you have to do to the CCM frame? I’m assuming it had the DR 650 engine stock? That’s a very rare bike in the U.S., I was always a fan.

Any more info on how difficult the swap was? Considering doing this in a drz400 frame, but not too sure if it'll fit.
