155cc.

Too bad it's not available in the USA that I can see. Could be an interesting bike. It appears to be available only for India market?

For anyone looking to get good gas mileage in the city it would be a great bike for that or if you simply wanted to beat up on Groms it would be good for that, too! Best of all, it's not a scooter. 👍

It's nicely spec'ed for a 155cc bike... Upside down forks, slipper clutch, ABS (single channel), etc. Especially for the equivalent of USD $1,937  (Rs 1.36 lakh)

WHAAAAAT?!!! $1,937?! That's a freakin' bargain in my book! Yamaha does it again!

IKR!? Our MT/FZ-07 doesn't even get slipper clutch or inverted forks for 2.5 times the price.

Meh...If I'm going to buy something that small, I'm going to make it a dual sport/purpose bike that I can also take off-road.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

GREAT first bike.  Owners will pretty quickly want to trade up to a -07...

That was my thought also.

Make it a dual sport bike? The suspension alone would fail miserably in the dirt. So much easier just to buy a dual sport from the factory that's already been through the testing process and is proven to work off-road (and usually mediocrely at that).

I actually like these small bikes, plus the headlights similar to an MT-09

Not as in modifying the MT-15, as in buying a different motorcycle all together.

I should have worded it differently for the elderly.

Doesn't look like it could carry more than 3 or 4 people at a time. No thanks.

Besides, who needs an engine THAT big anyway? You would have to put gas in at least once a month.

Sorry, my mind read it like, "If I'm going to buy something that small, I'm going to make it INTO a dual sport/purpose bike that I can also take off-road." but I think everyone, no matter the age, is guilty of misunderstand things said and read for one reason or another so let's not be too quick to make it an elderly thing and beat up an old man, our bruises take longer to heal anyway, ha!

I think it's a pretty cool bike.... That being said, Yamaha REALLY needs to work on their cheesy MT-series marketing videos-

Now that you've said that I keep reading it as "Porn of Darkness" and the cheesy porn music along with the fog and hot pink lights almost have me believing I'm seeing it right. Bring on the hotties! Wow, it's great to be elderly! 😎
