Do I need to get the fuel maps from Powercommander for a stock bike or just leave that stuff alone until I get exhaust and intake? I may remove the snorkel for now as that looks to be a nice free bit of power mid-range. You can start with their unrestricted file for the stock bike and you can import a power commander map for a stock bike also or make the changes you want manually in the upper tree for fuel. And (more importantly, lol) how is the lady liking it? My girlfriend and I are not impressed with the stock seat at all. I'd love to see more pics too! Sorry for the delayed response @Terry_b. My rear side is liking the corbin. It does put me in a different riding position that I'm still not used to quite yet....but I imagine I will in time. I do like the higher backside. Keeps me well planted if I lay on the throttle. My lady co-pilot is my 11 year old daughter and she really appreciates the backrest. It gives me a little more piece of mind too knowing it is there to keep her in place too. I keep it off the bike and unless she decides to join me out and about. II did post more pics of the seat in the seat section here:
Terry_b 27 Posted June 1, 2019 My girlfriend and I went hiking the other day and we wanted to take the bikes. We ended up skimping on water and snacks because I couldn't use my magnetic tank bag and we didn't have a decent tank bag. We could have used a backpack, but I didn't want to be hiking with a pack full of gear. I came up with a fix for the magnetic tank bag and got a Nelson Rigg tail bag. I had the Ogio bag that so many people here like but I didn't like the way the bottom pad stuck out like a skirt. Also the Nelson Rigg was only $60 on Amazon where the Ogio was $90!
Terry_b 27 Posted June 1, 2019 For the tank bag install, I ordered some large, thin rare earth magnets with double sided adhesive from Amazon. I was worried they wouldn't be strong enough or there wouldn't be enough clearance but out of the 8 magnets on the bag, I got 6 spots to match up underneath the tank. I doubled up on the 4 our magnets, maybe that increases the strength of the magnetic grip? My biggest reason for getting the tank bag on is map pouch. I got a Butler's motorcycle map of New England that I absolutely love. It highlights many of the "best" sections of roads for motorcycles. I like to just ride around picking directions at random, then finding where I am and picking the best route home. There's also just something about finding yourself on a map and formulating a plan rather than have some lady telling you to turn left in 300 ft.
Terry_b 27 Posted June 1, 2019 For the tail bag, I wanted to install the straps in a way that made it easy to remove in a snap, and also be easy to put on when my Corbin seat finally comes in with a simple adjustment. I took apart the rear again and routed the straps so they would tuck nicely out of the way.
Terry_b 27 Posted June 6, 2019 Finally got my Corbin seat! So much more comfortable! I do sit up a bit higher, but for me (right at 6' tall) it isn't a bad thing. I feel like I have a bit longer reach for the bars, but it's still a natural position.

Terry_b 27 Posted June 8, 2019 I've been recording my rides, but I have had abysmal battery life on my go pro hero 5. I ended up getting a triple charger with batteries, but even then stopping to switch out batteries was more trouble than I looked so I decided to install a permanent charging solution. Using the same USB charger several of you have linked and the correct connector, I now have permanent charging for USB devices. I may need to revisit the fuse situation, as I've heard that some phones can trip the fuse. I have a Pixel 2 XL, and I haven't tried it yet. For now, the go pro was my goal. Pretty easy really, red to red and black to black when installing the pins in the connector body. I actually ordered an extra so that I can swap out the accessory plug if I ever find something else I want in there.
Terry_b 27 Posted June 8, 2019 Also installed some led front accent lights, love the color and how bright they are. Might need that led headlight soon!

Terry_b 27 Posted June 25, 2019 I just bought a big pack of them. The bulb size is pretty common in cars for map lights, dome lights, etc. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GCM5CP4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=

Terry_b 27 Posted June 25, 2019 Those lights are stock on the 2018+. I just changed out the bulb for the white color
Terry_b 27 Posted August 5 Well, 2020/2021 was a crazy couple of years and I ended up moving, buying and renovating a house, and changing jobs. I just really didn't get the time to ride like I wanted and the bike didn't get many miles. My wife and I also got pregnant late in 2021, and as of writing this post, baby Savannah is 3 months old and I'm finally able to start getting some real time back on the bike. The pregnancy was a little rough towards the beginning and again at the end (preeclampsia is pretty scary), but we're getting into a routine and my wife actually decided she enjoys it when I get out of the house for a few hours - so I am happy to oblige on the bike! I'm also playing with the go pro a little more. I'm learning to color correct and I'm looking into the best way to mount the camera and potentially an audio recorder. Maybe some of my rides will make it to YouTube?
Terry_b 27 Posted August 5 I finally got the guts to do the LCD screen flip (and color). I love it! I ended up riding at night a few times and wasn't very happy with how bright the dash was, but was also disappointed with the brightness of the headlight. I also ended up swapping in a LED headlight bulb. It's just an Amazon bulb, but I tried to split the difference. It's cheaper than the Cyclops, but it wasn't a bottom of the barrel cheap bulb. It does have the correct low/high beam separation. I'm happy with it!
Terry_b 27 Posted August 5 Removing the LCD film from the dash screen was a pretty awful process. I thought for sure I'd scratched it or messed it up. Once I got the actual film off, I just had to lightly scrub the screen with goo gone until it was smooth as glass. I didn't hear it up, so it left a ton of adhesive behind. The color screen wasn't laser cut, so I trimmed it to fit. I also squeezed in some small foam slivers to replace the ones I took off. Unfortunately, no step by step because I was "working" and feeding the baby while I was slowly getting this done.
Terry_b 27 Posted August 5 I also added some bar risers - out of 2 kits available on Amazon, feedback and reviews said that the holes didn't match up on the dash extension bracket, so I picked the other one - and it lines up perfectly! I'll probably get some quality bolts to replace the cheap (and shiny) amazon bolts, but I like the extra height on the bars. I might still try a Carmichael or renthal set, but this was a cheap solution. The angle is a little different, but I tried to show the height difference from adding the riser. After a quick little ride, I do need to rotate those bars back a bit.

Terry_b 27 Posted 16 hours ago Still waiting on my TOCE Razor Tip exhaust system to arrive, but I got my first YouTube ride up. Literally just a gentle ride around local roads, but I'm learning to edit, mix audio, and color correct. First ride video!
