phanomenal07
Hey guys. I just realize the manual says the coolant should be changed at 16k miles. I'm currently a lil over 17k. I cant get to a dealer til next week so I was wondering is this something I need to do asap or can I continue to ride it until I can get to a dealer? The bike seems to be running fine. I was gonna do it myself but I already had an appointment to take it in for new spark plugs. I looked that up too and don't think I'm ready to do my own plugs yet. So I was just gonna have the dealer do it while it's there
scat2me
It's very easy. I changed mine at 500 miles. Only because I wanted to use " engine ice". Bought that on Amazon. You need to drain the bike when its cold. Flush with distilled water. The whole process took me about an hour. There is a set screw on the coolant cap. Make sure you loosen it before you try to remove it. Engine Ice TYDS008 High Performance Coolant
