rear stand on 19

Recommended Posts

vcyclenut

I feel like this is a dumb question, but the search function take me off the board and after looking and not finding the answer well here I am, lol

the rear swing arm has no place to but rear stand lifters and the axle has some odd cup shaped things around it, what does everyone do for a rear stand lift point.  I don't like using the angle brackets as ive seen them slip

Thanks and sorry if this has been beat to death,

Trex makes spools that go around the swing arm

I highly recommend the Trex rear spool adapters. Allows the use of a rear stand, and removal of the wheel if needed. Can't do that with the axle spools. Also get a bit more height while on the stand as the spools sit lower than the ones through the axle.

They use a double ended bolt that passes through the axle and has a lock nut and washer on each end. It should have come with them?

Personally I prefer these;

They let you do chain maintanance and remove the wheel while on the stand.

A piece of all-thread, a couple of nylocks and washers and you're in.
