Cruizin
The time has come for me to sell my beloved KTM. It has been maintained by me since new, in in perfect condition. Has upgraded Lectron carb, which creates more hp AND more MPG! No more jetting changes, when you reach a high elevation just turn the power valve a quarter turn! Sale also includes the stock carb, that only has 4 hours of use on it. Bike has the six days Skid plate, sale also includes the factory binder with owners manual/svc manual and extra power valve springs. This bike will go ANYWHERE. Places that ATV's and side by sides can only dream of. Good low end TQ for a 2 stroke because I have the power valve tuned to hit at the low range. Throttle response is crisp, no fade at all and with only 58 well cared for hours, this bike is better than new! Also has forest service approved muffler. I am open to shipping this bike to fellow forum members, but of course it will cost your around $400-600 extra. IF you live by mountains or desert and only ride street, you are totally missing out on a whole other kind of riding with no cops, speed limits or cars. This bike will climb any hill or trail that you can find. Wheelie all day long, jump logs, blast by ATV's with a big grin on your face. FZ07R WaNaB
Cruizin.... you need an edit - you forgot the displacement. One pic has a "2", but who knows. Seriously... you got the 250 and not the greatest dirt bike ever made - KTM 300 XC-W??? What were you thinking or is that what you are replacing it with? If I wanted a 300, I would just buy and install the 300 piston, jug kit. Actually, I prefer the 250. The 250 is faster than the 300, winds up faster than the 300. Stock, the 300 has slightly better low end TQ, but I have corrected that too with the lectron carb. I and many others prefer the stronger power band hit and faster rev up of the 250 over the 300. My buddy's 300's cant keep up with my lectron 250, why would I downgrade? You had to modify the 250 to be better than the 300 mmmm.... I wonder what could be done if you spent the same amount of modification money on the 300??? I suppose it really doesn't matter now. BTW, you are welcome for my pointing out your missing "250" in your ad post. Nice to see you changed it.
Beemer
I just read this article and to clarify, there is obviously more to the bikes than just carburation. To each his own. If I had the money and trails to ride on I would snatch that 250 up in a heartbeat, it is a nice bike! I could possibly have a adrenaline stroke on that two stroke! 2017 KTM 300 XC-W - Dirt Bike Test DIRTBIKETEST.COM 1 Beemer
