Going to be picking it up next weekend assuming the weather here in Chicago cooperates. This will be my second bike, coming from a Ninja 300. Mods planned so far: Ixil L3XB Black Hyperlow full exhaust TST Industries LED integrated tail light, TST MECH-GTR front turn signals, and TST fender eliminator Shorty levers of an undetermined brand (have't found any I like yet, open to suggestions) Also probably Shogun frame/axel sliders at some point Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The TST upgrades are for sure happening right away because I hate the look of the stock signals and the clunky fender. I'll probably ride it with stock exhaust for a bit but I'm not sure how long I'll be able to resist putting the Hyperlow on. Beemer Posted March 31, 2019 Share Posted March 31, 2019 Congrats! Be careful with that stiff, twitchy throttle. You'll most likely notice that along with substantial engine braking and want a solution for it. There are a number of options to deal with both and what seems to be the most popular on this site (and for good reason) is a ECU flash from the site vendor, 2WDW. I don't know if the manufacturer of your pipe recommends a tune or not but a flash tune will also help with any excessive decel popping that you may have with that pipe. (which sounds good, btw) It will also eliminate what has been notorious for causing much grief and that's the fuel shut-off. It does so much, * a must have for any FZ/MT07 owner regardless of whether they bought an aftermarket pipe or not. Beemer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
