user1 Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 good to see moto riders have moved to flashing their ECU's and leaving the commander type fuel units on the parts shelf. It wasn't that long ago that remapping a ECU was unheard of. i am curious though; I see posts that indicate the use of muffler slip-on's to -O7 motos and I wonder, are these slip-on's used in conjunction with the stock Yamaha muffler with cat box sitting beneath the bike's engine? and if not, what are folks using for the collector pipe that would be needed to accept the exhaust 'header' pipes and end up at a muffler's intake? I also wonder if a certain west coast flash company that advertises a $100 reduction on the the cost of a ecu flash, when bundled to various brands of 07 exhaust systems sold "at-near-cost" to you, flashes an ecu with as the same kind of integrity they use in their 'bundled' BF sales?
