Yup, runs through the R1 rear as well.  If you get past that, and the claymore you can have it ;)

I went through blacking out the bike and painted the sidecovers with basic rustoleum.  

Now I'm looking at the bike and wondering if I wouldn't just prefer exposed frame. I need to break it down and look at the brake side particularly, but does anyone know a functional reason to keep the covers on? Maybe a safety thing where the chain would be too close to your left foot, but honestly, I would rather be rid of them. With the Hordpower and no airbox, the bike is starting to look a little garage anyway.
