I just got an email from Yamaha that says:

Join us at North America's largest Motorcycle and Powersports show, the AIMExpo in Las Vegas, NV from October 13 - 14, where you will have a chance to see firsthand the debut of a new Yamaha sport bike and many other new 2019 motorcycle models at the Yamaha display.

Does anyone have any idea what the new sport bike could be?

Didn't they just do a refresh of the R3 recently?  I would not call an updated R3 a new sport bike, but then I am not in marketing ;).

Over here the R3 is called a supersport bike. "Sport bike" suggests to me an MT based bike. Tracer 700, hopefully for you guys.

Just do it!

Yamaha is such a temptress. We aren't in a topless bar, Yamaha. Please, just get it over with and stop the Tracer tease.

i'm assuming that speedo was in kph.... saw 120 indicated at one point and thought..... theres noo way that a 125 will do that.

ATGATT... ATTATT, two acronyms I live by.

I don't know if a 125 would sell over here. Multi-cylinder 300-400cc gets my vote.

The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is such a nice bike (came this close  🙏  to buying a new one off the showroom floor instead of my FZ-07) that Yamaha almost has to do something to counter with the R3, no?
