SharkSkinz fairings - Has anyone tried them

How does the stay line up if you begin at the top? Line up the upper mounting tabs to the fairing wings and see where the lower end wants to be where it attaches to the frame. I'll bet there's a happy medium there some place.

Or it could just take a little fudge-force fitting factor, maybe the stay is shared with other bike models or fairing variants?

Hmmm....

The race upper fairing stays like that are intended to bend.  Just bend the upper mount areas of the stay up to where it is supposed to be.  All of my race bikes using stays like the Vortex, the MotoHolders, etc - require that.

yes , got a very fast response from ionemoto
They also recommend to adapt the stay

". . .  he reason was when we had the upper quickly made it was based on how the bodywork was installed on our test bike.
More then likely the bodywork was bitched differently . . . "

i wanted to make sure, that I didn't miss anything. i have expected to adapt  it
when I build own fairing stays, i do similar 😉

my assumption was,
restriction is per picture
maybe try an additional upload tomorrow

If you re-enter the post via 'edit' you should be able to add another pic.

You could also resize the pics to a smaller megapixle in photo editor or email them to yourself as a smaller attachement.

Bike looks great!

For me, I just crop the picture a little on my phone and the new file is quite a bit smaller.

Bravo! If I had a plane ticket I'd come over and test ride it at Tirol or someplace. You're gonna have so much fun with it.

Nicely done.

Looks nice! I just want to know who did the paint and graphics on it? Are those just vinyl sticks on graphics?

I apologize if this has been discussed. I did a search and couldn't find anything.

I see that SharkSkinz now makes a set of fairings for the FZ07:

https://ionemoto.com/collections/sharkskinz/manufacturer_yamaha+model_fz07-mt07

Has anyone given them a try? If so, what did you think of them?

I just got a set of them.  They are  made on the older catalyst molds so the lowers hit the exhaust on some headers.  The exhaust I run is based on a Yosh header with a modified R6 Yosh muffler and it makes contact.  Fairings themselves are very nice though and its pretty simple to make the adjustment by glassing a bump into the lower.
