mossrider
How does the stay line up if you begin at the top? Line up the upper mounting tabs to the fairing wings and see where the lower end wants to be where it attaches to the frame. I'll bet there's a happy medium there some place. Or it could just take a little fudge-force fitting factor, maybe the stay is shared with other bike models or fairing variants? Hmmm....

Just bend the upper mount areas of the stay up to where it is supposed to be. All of my race bikes using stays like the Vortex, the MotoHolders, etc - require that. More then likely the bodywork was bitched differently . . . " i wanted to make sure, that I didn't miss anything. i have expected to adapt it when I build own fairing stays, i do similar

I see that SharkSkinz now makes a set of fairings for the FZ07: https://ionemoto.com/collections/sharkskinz/manufacturer_yamaha+model_fz07-mt07 Has anyone given them a try? If so, what did you think of them? I just got a set of them. They are made on the older catalyst molds so the lowers hit the exhaust on some headers. The exhaust I run is based on a Yosh header with a modified R6 Yosh muffler and it makes contact. Fairings themselves are very nice though and its pretty simple to make the adjustment by glassing a bump into the lower. 1 Get your MT07 & FZ07 racing parts at https://www.robemengineering.com/fz-07-products
