This is a first time I have heard of these body kits... less than $1500 for a body kit w/hardware...

S Skinz has always made nice stuff. This stuff is spun off the original stuff made by Cat Composites for AP so should be essentially the same. It even says the upper and lowers interchange with originals. Why not? Getting a set of originals from AP has become next to impossible.

I have ordered already this kit.
But is a long way from US to Austria.
I can give you some feed back, if package has arrived.

Fantastic. Really eager to hear what you think about it.

Please keep me updated.

You jerkz, now you got me thinking maybe replacing  my ratty upper instead of patching it up this off season, lol!

It's nice to have an Ala carte option.

I apologize if this has been discussed. I did a search and couldn't find anything.

I see that SharkSkinz now makes a set of fairings for the FZ07:

Has anyone given them a try? If so, what did you think of them?

Havnt tried them but i do have a set of the original design which these are based on.

Few differences:

the nose is closed off

different fairing stay

different mounting hardware

different tail section mounting (have to buy extra piece for race seat support)

What they should have done is addressed the lower so that any exhaust could be used without making modifications.

Good to know.

Which exhausts don't work with the lower right now? Is it just the stock exhaust, or do I need to be careful about what I buy?

The stock headers will burn through on the right side as well as Graves. Graves also dips down through the bottom on one header. Not sure of any others. Easy fix though.

the quality is really good

the parts are not just taken out of the  negative mold  (???),
all edges give the impression of being reworked
seat with reinforcement.

mounting kit not checked now.

I have figured out a special problem.
maybe I'm just too stupid to understand it
the front fairing stay is running a line the fairing until close to the end
there the stay is tuning horizontal, the fairing stay in line.
results in a gap , where the screws should placed.
what is the idea behind this construction. 😕

suggestions welcome 👍
