Taht do not scuff and scratch?

I need a small tank bag for wallet, glasses, phone, a Glock 19 in there would be nice (no, I am not kidding) too.

Any suggestions and order links.

Thanks guys.

The only one that comes to mind, as far as guaranteed not to scratch, will be the Givi that mounts with their "tank ring". Really clever system.

^ Link for the mounting ring, scroll down for the video on the whole system.

If you are open to a bag that attaches over your rear seat,  I have a cycleguys tail bag that holds a stupid amount of stuff while being damn near invisible when not in use. They guys on here turned me on to these. But despite cycleguys claims, these bags are not even remotely waterproof.

We offer a wide variety of tank bags at MotoMachines! Take a look at them here: https://www.motomachines.com/shop-by-product/soft-luggage/tank-bags Hope this helps! 👍

No it does not. I asked specifically which bags are recommended. As in provide a link or a part number/model for a tank bag that fits the MT-07 by personal experience. You provided a link to a bunch of magnetic attach bags so obviously you have not used them with the plastic tank on the MT-07?

Only one of those bags is made to mount on a metal tank with a magnet. Please read the descriptions of the tank bags to get an idea on how they mount and what the sizes are.

I have used the strap mount cortech super 2.0 low profile bag for the last 1000 miles and have no scratches. I did however move my speedo when i first got the bike so im unsure how well that clears in the stock location.

Yeah, I'd like to see that too.  I like large tankbags and didn't even consider the fact that the dash would be obscured.

Hmm, well, I guess I understand. If it is as I think then it might be possible for me to buy the adapter for both the MT and my 675R and use the same bag with both.

I am setting the MT-07 up as a commuter, fast, light day/weekend touring. The Triumph will not be so girdled but a tank bag is always useful for a day out.

For people thinking about getting a bag like that, how do you move it out of the way for fill ups? Quick release clip or other? Is it a pita or easy p-z?

Ah yes i forgot to mention. Its a 3 point strap system and the bag is atop a non slip/no scratch pad. The front has 2 straps that connect to a yoke on the steering stem. The rear is a single strap anchored around the metal bracket above the battery. It has a quick release buckle that when installed sits just above the end of the front part of the seat. When i need gas, i unclip it, pull the extra strap material out , and flip the the bag forward. Takes literally seconds. The bag rests up in the handlebars just fine and has never flopped while filling up. When im done putting in gas i lay it back down, click it in, put the strap tight and then tuck the extra strap material into the expansion zipper since i never need it anyway. That takes like a whole 10 seconds. So while not as graceful as a click on system, its still really easy and doesnt take long at all.
