static
Hi, not sure if this is the best section to ask in but is there any modification needed to fit a shad top case on the Yamaha rear carrier? My dealer says it wont fit, but theres a few pics of shad top cases on Yamaha carriers on Google. Does the mounting plate that comes with the Shad case work or is the Yamaha universal mounting plate needed? If anyone has any info that would be great, thanks

3crows
I just bought the Yamaha carrier and the Yamaha 39L case. It appears that the 2018 model MT07 does not require cutting holes in the rear cowling but simply removal (easily reversed) of the decorative outer panel. But, I too would be interested in mounting other cases to my Yamaha OEM rack. J
